Our Sangiovese brings a lovely longing for fruit to the nose and an aroma of a short darkness of tannins with a quick finish to round out the wonderful beginning of this bottle. A delightful varietal for the evenings of summertime..
"The 9th Legion"
No one knows definitively what happened to Rome's 9th Legion. Did they meet their demise in the British Isles, or were they simply disbanded and absorbed into other legions? Our theory is they simply went home to drink fine wine. Our Sangiovese is a tribute to Legio IX Hispaña.
